The Greyhound Health and Wellness Program (GHWP) at The Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center (VMC) provides support and information to Greyhound owners through this website. The VMC offers a breadth of veterinary expertise available to treat the special needs of these beautiful dogs.
Thanks in part to the research and outreach of the GHWP, veterinarians at Ohio State are well-versed in caring for Greyhounds. Our emergency doctors, oncologists, surgeons, and other board-certified veterinary specialists remain available to support Greyhound Health and Wellness.
Our Animal Blood Bank is a distinct program that works directly with the Greyhound Health and Wellness Program. Many Greyhounds participate as blood donors, and there will be no interruption of this important service.
We will keep everyone updated by posting information about future changes to the GHWP here. Be assured that the Ohio State Veterinary Medical Center maintains the expertise necessary to care for Greyhounds, as we always have. We thank you for your interest and support for the Greyhound Health and Wellness program.
